Sherif Younan Kamel is the founder and CEO of Econtech for Engineering and Trading, a company based in Egypt. He founded this company in 2004, six years after his graduation. Sherif is a successful entrepreneur, and his company has engaged in various engineering and trading activities, focusing primarily on providing technological and industrial solutions. He is known for his deep expertise in this field and his prominent role in leading the company’s growth and development.
Sherif divides his time between Egypt and the United States. During his time in the U.S., in addition to managing his company in Egypt remotely, he developed a strong passion for helping others. He played a key role in the development and establishment of the Irvine Rock Community Center in Irvine, California, which offers a variety of programs and services to the local community. The center hosts events, recreational activities, and classes for residents of all ages, especially the youth. He also established a volleyball academy for young girls there.
In addition to his business success, Sherif is deeply committed to helping those in need. Recognizing the urgent need in Egypt to assist underprivileged cancer patients, he, along with others who share his dream, decided to establish a cancer treatment foundation. Leveraging his expertise in creating successful organizations, his goal for this foundation is purely humanitarian. Sherif firmly believes that “it is always great to help people and participate in giving them hope in life, and to stand by them in their hardest moments.” His dream is to create a facility that supports cancer patients medically, spiritually, and emotionally.
With his passion and abilities in aiding the suffering and needy, Sherif found in “The Compassionate Virgin Foundation” a vast field for service and giving, making him a cornerstone in the foundation’s work. He aims to alleviate the pain of cancer patients and contribute to improving their lives in all aspects.
